Welcome to Millhouse Primary School

A small school with a big heart

Our dedicated team of staff and governors are committed to ensuring that we are a completely inclusive school and that all of our students achieve their potential in a stimulating, caring and happy learning environment.

“Your school is a happy and stimulating place, where pupils feel safe and cared for. Pupils
have a real voice through the school council and head boy and head girl. Pupils say they
have a real influence on school improvement.”
Ofsted, 2018

First opened in 1878, Millhouse primary School offers a 21st century, learning environment where children thrive. We, as a school, continue to grow and develop to ensure we meet the needs and expectations of our children and in recent years this has included modern additions, extensions and refurbishments.

“Pupils behave exceptionally well. Staff demonstrate a consistent approach which
celebrates success, rewards effort and helps pupils understand how to be safe and get
along with each other.”
Ofsted, 2018
